10 ways to lead by example leadership

It makes no difference who makes up your tribe. Whether it’s your children, your soul sisters, your work colleagues, your social club members, your students, clients, social media group or followers, or whoever else, everyone is a Leader in some role, somewhere in their life. And in that role inspiring leaders seek to lead by example.

No matter where in your life you’re the leader there are certain expectations that you have of yourself in that role. As a leader you want to offer your very best to make certain the experience for your tribe is enriching, of meaningful value and ultimately, supports their spiritual growth.

When you choose to walk in balance, harmony, wholeness and wellness, your leadership framework must be in alignment with Higher Consciousness and Source Wisdom.

But just like every other worthwhile achievement in life, good leadership doesn’t just happen.

Good Spiritual Leaders must lead by example. Through their actions, aligned with what they say and who they are Being, they become a person others want to follow. When leaders say one thing but do another, they erode trust, which is a critical element of productive leadership.

Here are 10 of the many ways to lead by example in Spiritual Maturity.

1.  Take Responsibility

Blaming others costs you your credibility, keeps others on the defensive and ultimately sabotages real growth.

2.  Be truthful

Inaccurate or hazy representation affects everyone. Maintain authenticity and show that honesty really IS the best policy.

3.  Be courageous

Walk through fire (a crisis) first. Take calculated risks in alignment with your intuitive wisdom that demonstrate commitment to a larger purpose.

4.  Acknowledge Failure

Acknowledging fails makes it OK for your tribe to do the same. Because it defines failure as part of the process of becoming extraordinary. Owning your vulnerability enables you to live authentically.

5.  Be Persistent

Try, try again. Go over, under or around any hurdles to show that obstacles don’t define you. Acknowledge to yourself that inspired, creative ideas come direct from your Soul and it’s worth persevering to realise your vision.

6.  Create Solutions

Don’t dwell on problems; instead open yourself to solutions. Ask the Universe to manifest your vision or dream and then step away and let it do so without you continuing to worry away at it. Ask your tribe for their intuitive input also.

7.  Listen

Set a tone that encourages healthy dialogue. Ask questions. Seek to understand. And also listen to your own inner wisdom. You’ll receive valuable insights through your intuition. Remain with awareness as these intuitive sparks are easily overlooked, and they may come when you least expect them.

8.  Delegate Liberally

Encourage an atmosphere in which people can focus on their core strengths. When we witness and acknowledge strengths in others we also acknowledge our own worth.

9.  Take Care Of Yourself

Exercise, eat well, don’t overwork, take steps to minimise stress, take a break, create, build your support network, maintain a spiritual practice and breathe properly. A balanced life is a life of wholeness, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. When you model it, encourage it, and support it you clear the way for others to do the same!

10.  Roll Up Your Sleeves

Be like Emmeline Pankhurst leading her suffragettes into battle for their rights, and inspire greatness in your group. Show them the person you have chosen to BE understands the importance of taking action.
